UNC Football lands four-star linebacker

The North Carolina Tar Heels' football program continues to find success on the recruiting trail this Summer.
After landing a few recruits following a big official visit weekend, Bill Belichick and his staff are hoping the momentum keeps picking up. On Friday, they added another key piece to their recruiting class.
Four-star linebacker Theo Wilson verbally committed to North Carolina on Friday afternoon, ending his recruitment after a round of visits. Wilson visited UNC, Louisville, Virginia and most recently LSU before making his decision and picking the Tar Heels.

The Tampa Bay product is ranked No. 402 nationally, the No. 29 linebacker and No. 37 player in the state of Florida per the 247Sports recruiting rankings. He had offers from Florida State, Georgia, Illinois, and Alabama, among others.
The addition of Wilson gives UNC 17 commitments in the 2027 class.
