The LSU Tigers are fresh off one of the hottest stretches of recruiting wins in recent memory as they picked up eight different players in the span of just 10 days between June 7 and June 17.

This class already had an interesting crop of talent at the top, but now they are starting to fill the class out and climbing up the recruiting rankings. They aren't done adding players by any means, but here's an update on where the 2027 class stands after their recent additions:

Quarterback (1)

4-Star QB Peyton Houston

Houston is a potential answer for the future face of this team as he has been one of the most productive Louisiana high school quarterbacks of all time. He's a little undersized, but he will survive in college and has been dominant heading into his senior year. He's been committed to LSU for a while and has embraced the school very well.

Running Back (3)

4-Star RB Trey Martin

Martin is the top running back out of the state of Louisiana. He has SEC-ready size at 5-foot-10 and 202 pounds, but doesn't play as slow as many high school running backs with that build. The potential combination of speed-and-size combination, with upside as a receiver, could make for a dominant back in this offensive system.

4-Star RB Tre Segarra

Segarra is similar to Martin. He is someone who could probably play on all three downs, which could make for a nightmare duo for defenses if the two end up sticking in Baton Rouge together. Segarra played soccer and wrestled along with playing high school football, which is the perfect combination of others sports for a running back.

3-Star RB Brennen Lacey

While he may be just a three-star player, don't sleep on Lacy. He is just under six-foot-0 and is a true track star. He has elite speed that could help him find the field pretty much anywhere. He is less of a ready-to-produce player of his 2027 counterparts, but has sky high potential.

Wide Receiver (3)

4-Star ATH Braylon Calais

Calais is going to be a fun weapon for Kiffin and Charlie Weis to play with on offense. He ran hurdles, relays and played basketball, along with playing all over the field. He has seen snaps at receiver, running back and defensive back. With his elite track speed and 6-foot-2, 200-pound build, he could put up big numbers in Baton Rouge.

4-Star WR Ah'Mari Stevens

Stevens is more undersized, coming in listed at around 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds, but with that should come elite speed. The Tigers have added a lot of options who are big-boded, they'll also need the shiftier athletes. When looking for speed, going too Hollywood, Fla., is a good start. That's where Stevens is from. Philadelphia Eagles speedster Marquise Brown is just one example of the type of athlete Stevens' high school has produced.

4-Star WR Cade Cooper

Cooper is pretty much the opposite of Stevens, he's coming in to be one of those big-bodied receivers at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds.

Tight End (1)

5-Star TE Ahmad Hudson

Hudson is the talk of town right now as LSU tries to fend off the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who seems prepared to build their entire program around Hudson if he were to go there. That's hard to pass by, but the Tigers will still put together a healthy NIL package and offer a place with more guaranteed development and winning.

Offensive Line (2)

4-Star OL Terrance Smith

Smith is the best star offensive lineman that LSU has added to this point. After the stagnation of the offensive line over the past few years, the Tigers are hoping to get back to domination up front. Smith could either be a great, athletic tackle or a stopping guard in the middle.

3-Star OT Amaziah Siale

Siale is all size with the hopes of putting it all together in practice. He'll be coming in at 6-foot-6, 360 pounds. While he's a bit more raw and will take some extra work, the fram is there for him to be a standout right tackle.

Defensive Line (2)

5-Star EDGE KJ Green

Green, depending on the recruiting service, is looked at as one of the best EDGE players in this entire class. He had 18 sacks as a junior, which almost doesn't feel real. He had nine as a sophomore, which is already very impressive. With the right development, Green could become a top-three pick at some point.

5-Star EDGE Chris Whitehead

Whitehead is right there next to Green. He's a little bit bigger, which is why this could project out to be the best pair of pass rushers. They compliment each other well. The only thing that LSU was lacking last season was the pass rush, now that doesn't look like it'll be an issue for much longer.

Linebacker (0)

Cornerback (1)

4-Star CB Markez Davis

The Tigers and Corey Raymond have had great success with this long, lanky defensive backs with high athletic ceilings. Davis could either end up on offense or defense, but he fits what LSU has been doing at corner perfectly. At 6-foot-3 in high school, he has the potential to be a lockdown player.

Total Commits: 13
