LSU football played its first game of the 2026 college football season on Saturday night, beating Clemson 51-10. There were a lot of questions about LSU entering Week 1 – there always are when this many new players are on the roster.

The game provided our first real look at LSU's offensive lineup, depth, and rotations. With the new information, it's time for an updated depth chart.

There weren't many surprises. LSU's choices aligned with the reports that trickled out of fall camp, like Dilin Jones earning LSU's starting running back job, beating out the likes of five-star Harlem Berry.

At wide receiver, Illinois transfer Malik Elzy earned a start after a strong fall camp. Up front, the starting five offensive linemen have remained the same since spring ball.

Here's an updated look at LSU football's offensive depth chart.

Quarterback

We knew Leavitt was LSU's QB1, but Week 1 revealed that Landen Clark won the battle to be LSU's QB2.

Running back

Dilin Jones and Stacy Gage got the bulk of the reps at running back. Durham and Berry didn't enter the fold until the game was in garbage time.

Wide receiver

At wideout, Malik Elzy technically got the start, but I didn't put him atop the depth chart because he didn't play as much as LSU's other outside wide receivers. Winston Watkins was LSU's primary slot receiver, but true freshman Corey Barber got some reps there, too.
