USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll: Vols basketball unranked for third week

Tennessee (13-6, 3-3 SEC) remains unranked for a third consecutive week in the USA TODAY Sports men’s basketball coaches poll.

Despite the Vols winning, 79-73, at Alabama on Jan. 24, Tennessee is unranked and the Crimson Tide (13-6, 3-3 SEC) are down six spots to No. 23. The Vols are receiving 30 points in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.

Tennessee will next play at Georgia on Wednesday. The Vols were scheduled to play at Georgia on Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST.

The game was rescheduled to Wednesday at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia, announced Sunday by the SEC. SEC Network will still televise the matchup at 7 p.m. EST. A game date was adjusted due to inclement weather in the area.
