USC’s season opener is less than 48 hours away! On Saturday, the Trojans will kick off their 2026 campaign at the Coliseum against San Jose State.
Ahead of the season opener, USC announced several updates to the Coliseum game day experience for 2026. One of those was the addition of KTLA anchor Hayley Elwood as the new in-stadium host.
In addition, there will be several new concession items available at the Coliseum this fall. Perhaps the highlight of the additions is beer served in a collectible Trojan sword (I absolutely need one of these).
Further, USC announced its game themes and giveaways for the 2026 season. Notably, there will be rally towels for the Ohio State and Oregon games, a drone show at halftime of the Fresno State matchup, and fireworks before ever home game.
“There is nothing in the world like being in the Coliseum on game day, and we cannot wait for what promises to be an unforgettable 2026 season,” USC Athletic Director Jennifer Cohen said in a statement. “Providing the Trojan Family with a first-class experience remains a top priority, and we have worked hard to listen to our fans and implement changes based on their feedback. Improving game day while honoring the traditions that make this place special is an ongoing priority, and we look forward to supporting our teams and creating the best atmosphere in college athletics."
