USC fans troll Oregon over blowout loss to Indiana in Peach Bowl

On Friday, Indiana dominated Oregon 56-22 in a College Football Playoff semifinal at the Peach Bowl. With the loss, the Ducks were eliminated from national championship contention for the 132nd consecutive season.

USC fans love to call Oregon the zeroes, for obvious reasons. The “O” is not a letter but a number reflecting the number of national championships the Ducks have in college football. USC has 11 of them, which is quite a large difference. Even though Oregon has had a very good program over the past 16 years — basically since Pete Carroll left — the Ducks have not managed to break through and finally lift a trophy in January. USC fans haven’t had a lot to cheer about since the 2009 Rose Bowl win over Penn State — just the 2017 Rose Bowl and Pac-12 championship, really — but Oregon not getting over the hump has been an undeniable highlight.
