Quarterback Jayden Maiava and the USC Trojans host the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at the LA Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, Sept. 12.

The Trojans will have a chance to improve to 3-0 while Louisiana is looking to secure back-to-back wins to start the season.

It will be the final nonconference game for the Trojans before starting their Big Ten Conference schedule, with a game on the road against Rutgers next week.

Maiava is back for his fourth season of college football, his third with the Trojans. He’s already completed 48-of-54 pass attempts for 635 yards and five touchdowns. He’s only been sacked once this season and has yet to throw an interception.

Lunch Winfield saw the most time at quarterback for Louisiana in the blowout win over the Lamar Cardinals last week. Winfield completed 16 of 22 passes for 189 yards and two interceptions. He also contributed to the rushing attack with 84 yards and a touchdown. Darrell Smith also rushed for 84 yards and produced two touchdowns.
