The Utah Utes (4-0) took care of business during the first road trip of the 2026 football season, pulling out a 31-17 win over Iowa State. This moved Morgan Scalley's team up two spots in the Associated Press Top 25 College Football poll before the action in Week 5.

Utah has now scored 30-plus points in 10 straight games dating back to the 2025 season, the longest streak in the nation. Wayshawn Parker's 174 rushing yards were the most by a Utah running back so far in 2026 and his 239 yards from scrimmage (65 receiving) were the most by a Ute since Britain Covey's 252 yards in the Rose Bowl at the end of the 2021 season.

Parker has recorded three scores in three of Utah's first four games.

Utah moves up as Texas Tech and BYU move down. The Red Raiders are one spot ahead of the Utes at No. 12. The Cougars slide down a spot as well after a bye week. Houston moved up five spots to No. 20 after winning at Georgia Southern.

Outside the Big 12, Florida was the biggest mover in Week 4. The Gators dismantled 4th-ranked Ole Miss in The Swamp. The 24-point win landed Florida in the top 10 for the first time since 2021. First-year coach Jon Sumrall picked up a signature win, showing strength over last year's Playoff team.

Florida's rise was the biggest since LSU leapt 14 spots, from No. 25 to No. 11, on Sept. 4, 2018.

No changes in the Top 3 with Texas, Georgia and Notre Dame holding tight. Miami moved into No. 4 ahead of Ohio State to round out the top five. Indiana, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss and BYU wrap up the top 10 ahead of Week 5.

And then 14, 15 and 16

Iowa earned its highest ranking since 2021, at No. 14, for knocking off Michigan on the final play of the game.Oregon was also up five spots to No. 15 after winning on the road against USC. Mississippi State moved up eight spots to No. 16, its highest ranking in four years.

The Bruins and Wildcats bounce back

No. 23 UCLA is 4-0 for the first time in four years after a 51-point road win over Maryland and is ranked for the first time in three years. No. 24 Kentucky followed its win at Texas A&M with an easy victory at South Alabama to earn its first ranking since 2023.
