Florida football wide receiver Vernell Brown III has been upgraded to questionable for UF's next game Nov. 8 at Kentucky, per the SEC Availability Report.

Brown, the leading receiver for the Florida Gators with 32 catches for 451 yards on the season, missed UF's last game against rival Georgia after suffering a shoulder sprain Oct. 18 against Mississippi State.

The 5-foot-11, 178-pound Brown also has been a weapon on special teams this season, averaging 13.9 yards per punt return and 17.4 yards per kickoff return.

Wide receiver Eugene Wilson III stepped up in Brown's absence with nine catches for 121 yards and 1 TD against Georgia last week and will likely be in line for as many targets against UK if Brown is still out.

In addition to Brown, running back Duke Clark and wide receiver Aidan Mizell also have been upgraded to questionable. In all, 13 Florida players are listed as out for the Gators, with defensive back Michael Caraway Jr. and wide receiver Dallas Wilson joining the list after suffering injuries on Nov. 1 against the Bulldogs.
