Vols fans offered half-price on alcohol prior to Texas-Tennessee game

Neyland Stadium will be a madhouse Saturday ahead of the Texas Longhorns first visit to Knoxville. The crowd should be one of the largest in the venue's history, ESPN College GameDay will broadcast for three hours before kickoff and now President Donald Trump will be attending. The school has announced a plan to get people in the stadium early – half-price alcohol.

The University of Tennessee has announced half-priced concessions, including alcohol, during the first hour gates are open. Gates open at 9 a.m. ET. The goal is to encourage fans to enter early and ease congestion ahead of President Donald Trump’s visit.

All concessions inside Neyland Stadium will be 50% off from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The half-off discount applies across all concession stands, including beer and alcoholic beverages. Neyland is known for tight concourses and long lines just to get inside the seating bowl.

For fans worried they might miss some of College GameDay, the pregame show will move inside the stadium for the final hour of its broadcast, which will lead right into the Noon ET game.
