The Third Saturday in October will be contested for a 109th time on Saturday.
No. 14 Tennessee (5-1, 2-1 SEC) will host No. 7 Alabama (5-1, 3-1 SEC) at Neyland Stadium. Kickoff between the Vols and Crimson Tide is slated for 3:30 p.m. EDT (ABC).
Ahead of Saturday's rivalry game, the Vols offered a scholarship to 2028 four-star running back Zion Coger from Jasper High School in Jasper, Alabama.
"Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee," Coger announced Wednesday.
The 6-foot, 190-pound running back is ranked nationally as the No. 155 overall 2028 prospect and the seventh overall 2028 prospect in Alabama by 247Sports.
LSU was the first school to offer Coger a scholarship on Feb. 16. He also has scholarship offers from Oregon, South Carolina, UAB, Memphis, Alabama, Missouri, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio State and Florida State.
Quarterback Kaden Craft is Tennessee's only commitment in its 2028 football recruiting class. He committed to the Vols on Aug. 17.
