Vote for the lohud Football Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital

The kids call it balling out.

We're going to start each week of the football season by recognizing some of the individuals who performed exceptionally well over the weekend. Please catch up on what our finalists got done on the field, then vote for the player who had the biggest impact for lohud Football Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital.

The poll will remain open until Wednesday at 3 p.m. and we'll feature the winner on lohud sports social media accounts.

Nick DiNapoli, Westlake

The senior quarterback completed 4 of 6 passes for 114 yards and one touchdown and ran for 147 yards and one touchdown on 26 carries during a 33-28 win over Pearl River in a Section 1 Class B semifinal.

Brian Formato, Bronxville

The senior running back and kick returner brought a pair of punts back for touchdowns and ran for two more in a 48-7 win over Putnam Valley in a Section 1 Class C semifinal.

Jackson Kearns, Dobbs Ferry

The junior quarterback completed 5 of 9 passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns during a 47-20 win over Valhalla in a Section 1 Class C semifinal. He also 12 times for 100 yards and two TDs.

Mark Lebowitz, Mamaroneck

The senior running back delivered 240 yards and four touchdowns in a surprising 54-20 win over North Rockland in a Section 1 Class AA semifinal.

Carson Miller, Rye

The senior quarterback completed 12 of 15 passes for 180 yards and ran for 154 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. He also had an interception, leading the Garnets to a 36-22 comeback win over Eastchester in a Section 1 Class A semifinal.

Brayden Richardson, Sleepy Hollow

The senior running back carried 27 times for 208 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-26 win over Ardsley in a Section 1 Class B semifinal.

Jackson Whipple, Somers

The senior defensive back picked off a pair of passes for the Tuskers in a 28-14 win over Harrsion in a Class A semifinal.
