Less than a month after receiving an offer, rising three-star defensive lineman Tory Clark from Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, made the long trip from the south to the Pacific Northwest for an unofficial visit with the Washington Huskies on Thursday.

The 6-foot-4, 275-pound Peach State product added the Huskies to his list of 23 programs in the hunt for his services, which has since expanded to include Arizona State, with offers from Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss, and Oregon coming before Jedd Fisch and co. formally offered on May. 18.

Clark, one of seven recruits in the 2028 class from Georgia to hold an offer from UW in next year's class, also made a visit to Arizona State on Monday and Oregon on Wednesday before arriving in Seattle for his visit on Thursday.

Director of recruiting Marcus Griffin is also playing a central role in the Huskies' efforts for the three-star sophomore and several other prospects in Georgia after a trip down south during May's contact period. Defensive line coach Jason Kaufusi and defensive coordinator Ryan Walters, along with Fisch, were among the coaches Clark met during his time on campus.

Ranked as the No. 24 defensive lineman and No. 33 prospect in the state of Georgia, per 247Sports' rankings, Clark is a prototypical 3-technique defensive tackle who can disrupt the pocket and also prove formidable against the run.

Clark can still add weight to his frame before he embarks on his college career. However, even at his size, his twitch and athleticism allow for just as much of an impact on opposing offenses as he could have at a heavier mass, which could be the case when it comes to the Big Ten and SEC, of which nine schools combined have offered the rising sophomore defender.

Now that the Huskies have gotten Clark on campus for an unofficial during the offseason, the next step will be to get the three-star and potentially his Woodward Academy teammate, four-star edge rusher Myles Tate, back at Husky Stadium for a game-day visit, to give the Peach State defenders a better idea of just what it means to suit up for UW in front of 72,000-plus fans.
