The Washington Huskies are more than just on the mind of Salesian High School two-way standout Jordan Slye Jr., with over a year left until he has to make his college decision.
Thursday night, the 6-foot-1, 170-pound cornerback and wide receiver in the 2028 recruiting class out of Los Angeles, California, donned a black UW top for a workout with former Washington State and current New England Patriots wide receiver Kyle Williams.
Slye Jr., a three-star recruit based on 247Sports' Composite rankings, holds 20 scholarship offers going into his junior season, while the standout defensive back hails from the same southern California school that produced former UW cornerback Jermaine Kelly.

The Huskies have hosted Slye Jr. for a pair of unofficial visits over the past year, first for a game-day visit last fall and then again in May for Dawgs After Dark, with at least one more expected unofficial visit before the three-star defensive back begins to take official visits in 2027.
As a sophomore, Slye Jr. recorded 24 total tackles, 17 pass breakups, 4 tackles for loss, and a pair of interceptions in 11 games for Salesian, proving to be one of the best underclassmen defensive backs in Southern California with at least two more seasons to hone his game.
Since UW offered Slye Jr. last May, several other Power Four schools have joined the race, including Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Utah, while fellow Big Ten Conference foe USC offered last January.
The Trojans and UCLA both hosted the three-star recruit, who is ranked as the No. 34 player in California in the 2028 class by 247Sports, for an unofficial visit, with first-year Bruins coach Bob Chesney making the latest impression on June 16.
