It’s been a busy offseason for Texas A&M coach Mike Elko, who is entering his third season at the helm with equally high expectations after leading the Aggies to the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history, primarily due to starting quarterback Marcel Reed’s career numbers through the air, combined with A&M’s defense producing the third most sacks in the country.

After two seasons as Texas A&M’s OC, Collin Klein departed to become Kansas State’s head coach, prompting Elko to elevate wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins as the program’s new playcaller. Despite his lack of OC experience, Wiggins had served as Klein’s co-offensive coordinator the last two seasons.

After throwing for 3,169 yards and 25 touchdowns, Marcel Reed has worked hard this offseason to avoid matching his 12 interceptions, which were tied for second most in the SEC, while his his wide receiver rotation now includes Alabama transfer Isaiah Horton, while star junior Mario Craver leads what is nationally consider and elite rotation after fellow star KC Concecpion, who led the Aggies in receiving last season, was selected 24th overall by the Cleveland Browns.

Two more offensive weapons at Reed’s disposal are sophomore running back Jamarion Morrow and freshman WR Aaron Gregory, who are reportedly working out with WR trainer James Everett Jr. For those who get dizzy quickly, make sure to play the video below of both players performing agility drills. Gregory already looks bigger, while Morrow, who is slated to compete for the starting running back role, continues to look like the best one-cut back on the roster.
