When Alabama football needed to keep its momentum rolling most, Tim Keenan III delivered.

With 4:32 remaining to halftime as Alabama (10-3) trailed Oklahoma by 10 points in a first-round College Football Playoff game on Friday, Dec. 12. The 6-foot-2, 330 pound defensive lineman made a critical block on a punt attempt by Oklahoma's Grayson Miller.

Miller caught the snap and geared up to kick, but dropped the ball. Keenan was ready and waiting to smother it and recover at the OU 42-yard line.

The play set Alabama up for a scoring drive. Quarterback Ty Simpson went on to make a short pass up the middle to wide receiver Isaiah Horton to move the chains. He was sacked by OU's Marvin Jones Jr. on the ensuing play, but recovered on second-and-17 with another short throw to Horton. Simpson's pass attempt on third-and-11 inside the 10 fell incomplete. However, the Crimson Tide was in field goal range.

Kicker Conor Talty cut away at the deficit with a 35-yard make, setting Alabama up to trail 17-10.
