No. 12 Notre Dame has looked flat at times on offense in the first half against Boston College — but Fighting Irish quarterback also has three throws of 40 yards or more. Two of those ended up in the end zone as touchdowns.

After the first one, a 40-yard touchdown pass from Carr to Malachi Fields, Carr later found wide receiver Will Pauling for 44 yards. This after the Notre Dame defense broke up a fourth-down pass from the Eagles to get the ball back.

Pauling's catch capped off a four-play, 73-yard touchdown drive that took 1:30. The two-point conversion attempt failed.
