After the Ohio State defense forced a punt on Penn State's opening drive, the Buckeye offense went to work. And just like fans have come to expect, Julian Sayin went to work with the precision of a surgeon, carving up the Nittany Lion defense, going 6-of-6 on passing attempts.

Sayin ran the read option to perfection on several completions, but it was the last completion that gave Ohio State a touchdown on its opening drive. Sayin read the safety, saw one-on-one coverage for a third time on Jeremiah Smith, and let it rip. Smith did the rest, pulling in the perfectly placed pass while maneuvering to the endzone.
