MANHATTAN — Kansas State football is set to introduce legendary Wildcats quarterback Collin Klein as its next head coach.

Klein’s hiring was announced on Thursday, Dec. 4, as he replaces Chris Klieman, who retired on Wednesday after seven seasons of leading the Wildcats. Klein agreed to a five-year contract that’s worth $4.3 million annually, after spending the last two seasons as Texas A&M’s offensive coordinator.

Klein will be introduced during a welcome event on Friday, Dec. 5, at Morgan Family Arena. The event will begin at 4 p.m.
