No. 3 Notre Dame's defense has already had an impact against the Stanford Cardinal.

Fighting Irish defensive lineman Boubacar Traore came unblocked and sacked Cardinal quarterback Davis Warren, forcing a fumble recovered by Notre Dame linebacker Jaiden Ausberry.

The turnover, on the very play of the game from scrimmage, set Notre Dame up in great field position. The Irish quickly capitalized with a touchdown.
