No. 9 Notre Dame knows it likely needs style points to help make its case with the College Football Playoff committee. Keeping that in mind, the Fighting Irish have been pouring it on against the Stanford Cardinal.

Notre Dame is up 35-3 at the half in part because the Fighting Irish followed this Leonard Moore interception with a 12-yard touchdown pass between quarterback CJ Carr and backup running back Jadarian Price.

That ended a 9-play, 45-yard drive that took 1:04 off the clock.

It also ended a first half that served as a statement for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
