While Ohio State has had some mixed moments on the offensive line this season, there’s no question what center Carson Hinzman has meant to the program. His steady hand during last year’s College Football Playoff run helped steady things after some key injuries, and he’s picked up right where he left off this year.

Hinzman and his offensive line colleagues will be looking to repeat their outstanding work last year when they go against a very good Miami defensive line in the CFP quarterfinal Cotton Bowl Classic matchup on New Year’s Eve. Before that, though, Hinzman was a part of the offensive players made available for media opportunities at the Cotton Bowl.
