Next up on the journey to a potential Big Ten championship and spot in the College Football Playoff for the Ohio State football team is a trip to West Lafayette to face the Purdue Boilermakers. The Buckeyes were the No. 1-ranked team in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the year, and shouldn’t have too many issues taking care of business until the game on the road vs. Michigan on Nov. 29.

As he does every week, head coach Ryan Day met with the media for his weekly in-season press conference to discuss where the team is and to preview what he sees from Purdue. And while the Boilermakers haven’t won a conference game this year, they have been improving each week and looking very competitive, especially last week in a five-point loss at Michigan.

We have Day’s complete press conference thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel in case you like to hear from the guy wearing the headset every week. Day discussed OSU’s need to retain its focus, the continued development of Julian Sayin, the struggle historically playing at Purdue over the last 20 years, and more.

Game time for Ohio State vs. Purdue is set for 1 p.m. ET. Continue to check back with us as we have further coverage leading up to, during, and after the game on Saturday.
