It was another dominating win for Ohio State on Saturday, one in which a lot of depth players got some action and helped out in the runaway score of 48-10 against UCLA to run the record to 10-0, and still on track to do some special things this season.
It wasn’t a perfect game, and there are bigger things down the road, but this team has been so good that even playing a game that isn’t its best results in the type of night that we saw in the ‘Shoe Saturday.
Head coach Ryan Day meets with the media after each game to meet with the media and reflect on the game and answer questions from reporters, and this one seemed a little more subdued and short. Maybe it is because that Michigan game is coming up soon, but either way, the head man was good but not satisfied with what he saw tonight.
In case you missed any of what Day said, we have the entire postgame press conference, thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel. Day discussed some good things he saw from the running game, the injury concerns for Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate, the kickoff return for a touchdown, and more.
Ohio State will now prepare to host the Rutgers Scarlet Knights next Saturday. We’ll have plenty of reflection on this one and look forward to that one in the upcoming days as well.
