Well, this is what fans have been waiting for from Ohio State running back James Peoples. Peoples was expected to be the next in line of great Buckeye backs. But things haven't worked out for the sophomore, as it seems both true freshman running backs Bo Jackson and Isaiah West have passed him on the depth chart.

That doesn't mean Peoples isn't getting his opportunities. He is. The opportunities are just fewer and farther between. But when given the chance, you have to make the most of it, and that's exactly what James Peoples did late in the second quarter. 19 yards away from the goal line, Julian Sayin handed the ball off to Peoples, who darted outside the tackles with just one man to beat. It looked as if the Buckeyes would be stopped around the 10-yard line with a defender zeroed in on the tackle. That's when Peoples took to the air with a picture-perfect hurdle and would walk into the endzone to put the Bucks up 24-0.
