Zay Jones is making sure to leave no doubt that he should be considered for the Houston Texans' roster.

The veteran wide receiver, who was signed on Friday after the season-ending injury to Jayden Higgins, made himself known by hauling in a 6-yard touchdown pass Friday night against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium.

Here's a look at the touchdown reception, courtesy of the team's social media account.

A former second-round pick, Jones has been a quality depth option around the league in stops with the Buffalo Bills, Las Vegas Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars and Arizona Cardinals. For his career, he's totaled 307 receptions for 3,295 yards and 18 touchdowns.

After dropping a pass in the third quarter, he made up for the play by putting six on the board.
