This weekend, the No. 3 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish travel two hours south to take on the Purdue Boilermakers in an in-state rivalry game for the Shillelagh Trophy. Notre Dame has battled heat, humidity, and rain in its first three games of the season. As we finally arrive into the official time of autumn, the Mother Nature is starting to get us closer to that “football weather” that we crave.

It will be an early afternoon game, so that means some good morning tailgating — and the weather is perfect for kegs-n-eggs or whatever protein/carb combo you prefer for breakfast.
