It’s really been a wild spring in terms of weather in South Bend and the rest of the midwest. Major thunderstorms, tornados, dangerous wind, and torrential rain have been more of the norm than usual. Of course, with the spring weather changes, we also get the annual Blue-Gold Game for Notre Dame Football.
Without checking the records, it seems as though Notre Dame’s spring game has seen mostly good weather for a number of years. I remember being to more than a few where that wasn’t the case, but I will say that a solid weather day in South Bend for some spring football is peak living. The campus vibes are coming back to life along with leaves, and flowers, and the sound of football pads clacking ferociously. Regardless of what the game actually ends up looking like, it’s a remarkable time, and the last marker until we bury ourselves back into the offseason.
So what’s the weather going to look like this Saturday at Notre Dame? Well… you’re probably in luck.
This will be a bit cooler than what the temperatures will be this week, but hearing the words “sunshine” and “no rain” is more than enough for fans to get excited about the weekend and all of the festivities that come with the Blue-Gold Game.
