Wellesley native continues to rack up offers from Power 4 football schools

Blue bloods are lining up.

Nebraska football became the latest Power 4 program to offer a scholarship to former Wellesley quarterback Lukas Prock on Thursday. It’s the latest in a flurry of options for the Hun School signal caller that just completed a reclassified sophomore year in New Jersey.

The Class of 2028 four-star prospect also received offers from Duke and North Carolina in the ACC, Kentucky in the SEC and UConn in the past week.

Prock threw for 4,330 yards – third in the country – and 41 touchdowns against just seven interceptions during his first year at Hun. The yardage total is second in New Jersey history, and his touchdown total ranks third. USA Today named him a first-team offense All USA East quarterback. He was a Rivals Sophomore All-American.

Virginia and Virginia Tech offered him in January following Wake Forest and Michigan.

His offer list also includes Boston College, Ohio State, Illinois and others.

Hun finished 8-4 last season playing some of the natin’s top teams like IMG Academy, St. Frances, St. Thomas More and Archbishop Spalding.

Prock spent two seasons quarterbacking Wellesley, leading the Raiders to the Division 2 state semifinals in 2024.
