STILLWATER — Big 12 defensive freshman of the year Wendell Gregory is expected to enter the transfer portal, becoming one of the most notable departures from Oklahoma State this season.
The 6-foot-3, 255-pound edge rusher had 27 tackles with 12 for loss, four sacks and seven quarterback hurries as a redshirt freshman.
A transfer from South Carolina, Gregory is originally from Marietta, Georgia. He had been a four-star recruit at linebacker when he came out of Walton High School, but began the transition to edge rusher while redshirting at South Carolina in 2024.
