The Georgia Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC) play the Florida Gators (3-4, 2-2 SEC) in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party on Saturday, Nov. 1. Georgia and Florida are both coming off bye weeks ahead of the game.
Georgia is looking to defeat Florida for a fifth consecutive time. The Bulldogs have won seven of the last eight games in the rivalry. Georgia plays Florida, who recently fired coach Billy Napier after three-plus seasons.
Since Napier was hired ahead of the 2022 college football season, Georgia has won a national championship and two SEC championships. Florida, of course, did not sniff a national title or SEC championship appearance during the Napier era. Napier’s Gators accumulated 23 losses in his three-plus seasons at the helm. During the entire Kirby Smart era (started in 2016), Georgia has just 20 losses.
Florida enters a new era without Napier. The Gators have plenty of talent, but have not been able to put it all together often enough.
Georgia is focused on what it has “to do to play well and be at our best” against Florida, according to coach Smart. The Bulldogs can’t afford a loss to Florida, which would be a significant blow to Georgia’s College Football Playoff hopes.

Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton will deliver a late fourth quarter touchdown to give Georgia a two-score lead and put this one out of reach for Florida.
