What channel is UNC-Stanford football on? Time, TV schedule for Saturday afternoon clash

The North Carolina Tar Heels, still beaming after snapping their 4-game losing streak on the football field, are right back at it Saturday afternoon.
UNC returns to Kenan Stadium for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff against the Stanford Cardinal. North Carolina (3-5, 1-3 ACC) and Stanford (3-6, 2-4 ACC) last met in the 2016 Sun Bowl, when Cardinal defensive tackle Solomon Thomas took over and made the Tar Heels miserable.
Even with a super-brief history (three games) against each other, UNC and Stanford first meet Saturday in an ACC matchup. The Cardinal are in their second season playing ACC football, despite being on the Pacific Coast, while the Tar Heels are a flagship ACC institution .
Though both teams are in a similar spot this season, entering Saturday’s game with three wins apiece, one could argue North Carolina is playing better football right now.
UNC played its most complete game in 2025 during last Friday’s 27-10 win at Syracuse, totaling 425 yards while holding the host Orange under 150. The Tar Heels fell a failed 2-point try short of upsetting Virginia the week prior – and on October 17, lost at California by three points.
Stanford “upset” Florida State on Oct. 18, but lost its past two games by a combined 50 points. The Cardinal’s offense (307.1 yards per game) and defense (424.9 YPG) aren’t great, but North Carolina still needs to prepare itself.

UNC vs. Stanford prediction, picks, odds
The Tar Heels are back in front of their home crowd Saturday afternoon, on what should prove to be a beautiful fall afternoon. With UNC winning its last game, expect more people in the stands.
North Carolina has a star in Demon June, who is fresh off a career-best 182 scrimmage yards. Melkart Abou-Jaoude continues to lead a stellar defensive unit, which finally seems to be turning a corner after inconsistent, early-season play.
Stanford has just 27 points across its past two games, complete with a quarterback that has more interceptions than touchdowns. The Cardinal aren’t a pushover, but should prove to be an easier test than Syracuse
