What is QB Gunner Stockton's College Football 27 rating?

The EA Sports College Football 27 video was released back in early July. The game features players from college football teams all over the country. It is the predecessor to the once world-renowned NCAA Football series by EA Sports.

A plethora of Georgia Bulldogs are in the game, but quarterback Gunner Stockton was not included at first on the early release rosters due to him not opting in or filling out the paperwork to be in the game. Stockton has been added and has an overall rating of 90.

Stockton is one of 10 quarterbacks rated 90 or higher in College Football 27. He is the third-best rated quarterback in the SEC (tied). Stockton is only rated behind Trinidad Chambliss (Ole Miss) and Arch Manning (Texas).

Stockton started playing for the Bulldogs in 2022 as a backup to now Arizona Cardinals and former Miami quarterback Carson Beck. Stockton's first season as a full-time starter was in 2025, where he led the team to a 12-2 record with an SEC championship victory and a Sugar Bowl appearance, throwing for 2,894 passing yards and 24 touchdowns to five interceptions.

Stockton is entering his fifth year and has solidified his status as one of the best quarterbacks in college football. Georgia has a lot of players returning with a substantial amount of talent. Could this be a Heisman year for Stockton? Stockton is an All-SEC pick and has pretty good Heisman odds. He needs Georgia's young receivers to step up for him this fall.
