Entering the 2026 college football season, Texas A&M ranks among the top teams in the Southeastern Conference in offensive production returning.
According to statistics posted by podcaster and analyst Michael Bratton, otherwise known as SEC Mike, the Aggies boast the fourth-best returning production on the offensive side of the ball. That includes the likes of explosive wide receivers Mario Craver, Ashton Bethel-Roman, and Terry Bussey, as well as running backs Jamarion Morrow and Rueben Owens II and veteran quarterback Marcel Reed.
Texas A&M finished fourth in the SEC in 2025, averaging 33.7 points per game, but an offensive coordinator change and a plethora of departures in the trenches will determine if the Aggies can carry last season's success into the fall.

Head coach Mike Elko lost four of five starters to the 2026 NFL Draft, but reeled in massive transfers from SEC foes through the transfer portal like Wilkin Formby (Alabama), Tyree Adamas (LSU), Trovon Baugh (South Carolina) and Coen Echols (LSU). While the questions up front linger over Texas A&M's offense, the unit's success will also depend on the leap that Reed makes at quarterback.
The junior from Nashville, Tennessee, posted 3,169 passing yards and 25 touchdowns. He ranked fourth in the SEC with 243.77 passing yards per contest, while also rushing for 493 yards and six scores on the ground. Reed is a promising dual-threat quarterback who took another leap forward last season by helping lead Texas A&M to its first 11-0 start since 1992 and an appearance in the College Football Playoff. His inconsistency at times as a passer must be addressed heading into this year's campaign if Reed wants to improve, as he faces a grueling nine-game conference schedule.
While the loss of star wide receiver KC Concepcion to the NFL was a massive hit to the wide receiving corps, the return of Craver, Bethel-Roman and Bussey provides Reed with electrifying talent who can stretch the field and torch opposing secondaries. Bethel-Roman and Bussey are recovering from offseason injuries, but if Texas A&M's offense can remain healthy, it has the potential to be one of the most explosive units in the conference in 2026.
