What NC State WR transfer Noah Rogers means for Alabama | Reports

Alabama football has added another wide receiver to its 2026 roster.

Former NC State wide receiver Noah Rogers is transferring to Alabama after two seasons with NC State, per multiple reports

Rogers is the 12th playerr to transfer to Alabama during the NCAA transfer portal window along with players like Michigan offensive linemen Ty Haywood and Kaden Strayhorn.

Rogers was a significant contributor to NC State’s offense over the past two seasons.

After starting his career with Ohio State as a former four-star wide receiver out of Rolesville, North Carolina, Rogers transferred to the Wolfpack and developed a consistent role in its offense. In two seasons, Rogers had 919 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 68 catches.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver had a career high eight catches for 96 yards in NC State’s 48-36 win against Georgia Tech. He had touchdown catches against Virginia and Pittsburgh. He played a career-high 532 snaps for the Wolfpack in 2025, per Pro Football Focus.

Rogers gives Alabama a receiver to pair with Ryan Williams and Lotzeir Brooks.

A bigger frame, Rogers has the versatility to play both inside and out, while giving the Crimson Tide the flexibility to continue to develop bigger outside deep threats in Cederian Morgan and Derek Meadows.

Alabama now has six scholarship receivers on the roster: Rogers, Williams, Brooks, Morgan, Meadows and Rico Scott.
