Penn State basketball will face its first Big Ten opponent of the 2025-26 season as the program travels to Bloomington to face Indiana.

The Nittany Lions (8-1) have continued to evolve with a young roster, but Mike Rhoades‘ squad has learned to close games in real time ahead of their first conference game. The only blemish was a 77-65 loss to Providence in the Hall of Fame Showcase, but there have been a lot of positives, starting with freshman sensation Kayden Mingo, who leads Penn State in points, assists and steals.

Indiana (7-2) has lost back-to-back games heading into its second conference matchup, but redshirt senior forward Tucker DeVries has started the year as the best shooter in the conference, leading the Big Ten in makes (33) from deep while shooting 41%.

The Hoosiers were picked 10th in the preseason media poll by the Columbus Dispatch and Indianapolis Star, while Penn State was picked to finish last.

This is the only regular-season meeting between the two teams, and only the second true road game for Penn State,
