What To Know About All 84 College Football Bowl Teams
NCAAF College Football News, Photos, Stats, Scores, Schedule & Videos...
The 2025-2026 bowl season and College Football Playoff haven’t even started, and already it’s been one of the wildest postseasons ever.
From the controversy over the CFP process that left out Notre Dame, to the snubbing of the Pop-Tarts Bowl that followed, to problems finding teams with any players still around to play in these things, it hasn’t been easy to get this off the ground.
But the bowl games start this weekend, you’re going to watch them, and you might as well know a little something about all 84 teams playing.
We’ll dive deeper with the game previews rolling out this week, but before then, here’s a quick look at every bowl matchup and team.
Know Every Bowl and College Football Playoff Team
Cricket Celebration Bowl
Saturday, December 13, 2025
Prairie View A&M Panthers
10-3 | The Panthers stunned Jackson State to take the SWAC. They earned it on the lines, doing a great job in pass protection, bringing the heat on the other side, and the pass defense is No. 1 in the FCS. They gave Rice a hard time, with everything in place to pull off a bowl win if they control the tempo.
South Carolina State Bulldogs
9-3 | Ultra-efficient, the Bulldogs are among the best in the FCS at keeping the chains moving and getting the defense off the field fast. The defense will crank up the pressure for a full four quarters, but it’s the control that’s everything – if it seems like they always have the ball, it’s because they will.
Bucked Up LA Bowl
Saturday, December 13, 2025
Boise State Broncos
9-4 | The Mountain West champ goes to a whole other level with QB Maddux Madsen back. This is hardly the team that got into last year’s College Football Playoff, but it still has a running game, the defense is solid, and when Madsen is on, good luck.
Washington Huskies
8-4 | Was this a stepping-stone season? If so, this needs to be when the team makes a big statement going into the offseason. It lost to Ohio State, Oregon, and Michigan, and had a weird day against Wisconsin, but with a great defense that has yet to allow more than 26 points, it’ll bring the intensity.
IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl
Tuesday, December 16, 2025
Jacksonville State Gamecocks
8-5 | No, it didn’t show up as expected in the Conference USA Championship loss to Kennesaw State, but the Gamecocks have one of the nation’s most dynamic ground attacks. When the offense works, enjoy the fireworks on both sides. The defense takes the ball away in bunches.
Troy Trojans
8-5 | The Sun Belt runner-up hasn’t been consistent, and it doesn’t have a high-end offense, and there’s no running game whatsoever – the line is a problem – but the defense is enough to get by. It’s a find-a-way team to get it done.
StaffDNA Cure Bowl
Wednesday, December 17, 2025
Old Dominion Monarchs
9-3 | If you didn’t see the Monarchs in the opener when they ran wild against Indiana, the ground game is explosive, leading to a downfield passing game that can hit the home run. This is the type of team no one wants to face in a bowl.
USF Bulls
9-3 | Everyone is crying about the Group of Five teams getting in, but there wouldn’t have been any whining if USF managed to get in. Tough three-point losses to Memphis and Navy kept it out of the American title game. Head coach Alex Golesh is off to Auburn. It’ll be Kevin Patrick coaching this before Ohio State offensive coordinator Brian Hartline takes over.
68 Ventures Bowl
Wednesday, December 17, 2025
Delaware Blue Hens
6-6 | How much fun are the Blue Hens? The first season at the FCS level has gone great, rising up with an interesting offense with enough pop to be dangerous. The defense crashes too much, but if the O is on, it can hang a huge number on the board.
Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns
6-6 | It was a grind, but the Ragin’ Cajuns overcame a brutal 2-6 start with a four-win November run to get here. There isn’t much of a passing attack, and the defense can’t stop anyone’s running game, but the wildly inconsistent team is dangerous on the right day.
XBOX Bowl
Thursday, December 18, 2025
Arkansas State Red Wolves
6-6 | It’s a fun team that has the offense to go on a big run at any time. The pass rush is outstanding, and the short-range passing game can win by itself, but the O has to get past its massive turnover problem and keep the chains moving.
Missouri State Bears
7-5 | Well how’s that for the first year in the FBS? The Bears have a fun passing game thanks to a strong veteran quarterback in Jacob Clark, and when the defense takes the ball away, the team is a problem to deal with. Get ready for a full effort from this bunch.
Myrtle Beach Bowl presented by Engine
Friday, December 19, 2025
Kennesaw State Owls
10-3 | Well, how’s that for a second year as an FCS program? The Owls stepped up under head coach Jerry Mack with an outstanding defense that lives behind the line, and with an ultra-efficient offense that did just enough to take the CUSA Championship.
Western Michigan Broncos
9-4 | Don’t expect a slew of fireworks. The MAC Champion has a killer defense, the team doesn’t make big mistakes, and the offense plays along, with its main job being not to screw up. Lots of running, lots of toughness, and plenty of control – it’s a terrific team.
Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl
Friday, December 19, 2025
Memphis Tigers
8-4 | The Tigers are looking for a new head coach with Ryan Silverfield off to Arkansas. Assistant Reggie Howard takes over, and little will change in style, but the production has to come. They lost their last three games after an 8-1 start, but the parts are there to end with a bang.
NC State Wolfpack
7-5 | The Wolfpack made a lot of noise for a seven-win team, beating Virginia, Georgia Tech, and closing with three wins in the last four games. The defense has a hard time coming up with stops, but QB CJ Bailey is a deadly-accurate rising star to build around.
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
Monday, December 22, 2025
Utah State Aggies
6-6 | It could’ve been such a good season. Bronco Mendenhall’s team brought a strong defense, but time and again, the team couldn’t come through in key situations, losing to UNLV in a heartbreaker and dropping the Boise State game by one. It’s dangerous.
Washington State Cougars
6-6 | Head coach Jimmy Rogers is off to Iowa State, defensive coordinator Jesse Bobbit will take over for this, and nothing should change. The Cougars allow just over 300 yards per game – they held tough in close losses to Ole Miss and Virginia.
Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl
Tuesday, December 23
Louisville Cardinals
8-4 | An amazing start fizzled out late, but it was still a fun season with wins over Miami, Pitt, and most interestingly, James Madison. When the offense gets up and going, forget it. One of the best defenses in America is great at getting off the field.
Toledo Rockets
8-4 | On fire late in the season, it was a one-point loss to Western Michigan away from probably being the MAC champion. The defense has been amazing over the finishing kick, allowing ten points or fewer in seven of the last ten games, and a total of 18 points over the last four.
New Orleans Bowl
Tuesday, December 23
Southern Miss Golden Eagles
7-5 | Charles Huff came in from Marshall and turned Southern Miss from awful to terrific … until the finishing kick. The Golden Eagles lost three straight, the defense has gone bye-bye, and there’s no control of the tempo without a ground game and the fast style, but whatever. The program is good again.
Western Kentucky Hilltoppers
8-4 | It wasn’t the high-powered team it was expected to be, but it held tough in a 13-10 loss to LSU, and came close to being in the CUSA Championship. Even so, the attack is great at moving the chains, but it has to avoid giving up a slew of turnovers.
Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl
Tuesday, December 23
Ohio Bobcats
8-4 | Red-hot over the back half of the season, but Bobcats come into this rolling. Fantastic at controlling the clock and the tempo, the defense holds up because it’s rested thanks to one of the best rushing attacks in the nation.
UNLV Rebels
10-3 | Don’t go by the ten-win record with the Rebels. The offense will go, go, go, and can put up points in bunches, but there hasn’t been a penalty this team doesn’t seem capable of committing, and the defense has a big problem against the decent attacks. But it’s a fun group to watch – it’ll be a good bowl team.
Sheraton Hawaii Bowl
Wednesday, December 24
Cal Golden Bears
7-5 | The Bears were good enough to beat SMU, Louisville, and Minnesota, and weird enough to get rocked by San Diego State and Stanford. Interim head coach Nick Rolovich and QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutel make a killer combination – the passing game should be a blast in this.
Hawaii Rainbow Warriors
8-4 | There were problems on the road late in the season, but when the offense is on, everything else works. The Rainbow Warrior defense attacks, quarterback Micah Alejado is worth the price of admission, and it should put on a fantastic show.
GameAbove Sports Bowl
Friday, December 26
Central Michigan Chippewas
7-5 | Central will be more than just competitive. The defense is dangerous enough to be a problem. The offense is hit-or-miss, and it stalls too often, but the defense attacks, forces a ton of mistakes, and does a lot of bending without breaking.
Northwestern Wildcats
6-6 | The team had to grind for it, but they got the one win they needed over the back half of the season to get here. The offense could use more pop, but the deliberate style and parts in place should work well – the full fight will come from the Cats.
Rate Bowl
Friday, December 26
Minnesota Golden Gophers
7-5 | Too inconsistent, the Gophers weren’t all that tough with the ground game, the passing attack hasn’t been special, and the defense didn’t travel, but the program is a monster in bowls under PJ Fleck – he’s 6-0 with the program. It always brings the want-to.
New Mexico Lobos
9-3 | You want an off-the-radar team you need to see this bowl season? Here it is. It got hosed in the tie-breaker process – it should’ve played for the Mountain West title – and now it’s mad. First-year head coach Jason Eck cranked up a tenacious defense and outstanding ground attack.
SERVPRO First Responder Bowl
Friday, December 26
FIU Panthers
7-5 | Willie Simmons came up with a whale of a first season with the Panthers. The defense isn’t good, the secondary gives up yards in bunches, and … there are plenty of takeaways. The team finds a way, going 4-0 in November to get here.
UTSA Roadrunners
6-6 | There’s something about this team. When it wakes up on the right side of the bed, it brings one of the most dangerous offenses among Group of Five teams and can’t be stopped. However, the team seems to leave the offense in San Antonio. Even so, it’s a fun team, even if it’s flawed.
Go Bowling Military Bowl
East Carolina vs Pitt
Saturday, December 27, 2025
East Carolina Pirates
8-4 | A bit off the radar with all the noise among the other top American teams, but the Pirates crank up the points, they’re amazing on both sides of the ball on third downs, and the defense attacks. Be mad if they don’t throw 40+ up on the board.
Pitt Panthers
8-4 | Blow off the fails against Notre Dame and Miami. The team went on a five-game winning streak, and later killed the Georgia Tech ACC dreams, around rising star QB Mason Heintschel and a brick wall of a run defense. It’s Pitt; the defensive pressure is coming.
Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl
Saturday, December 27, 2025
Clemson Tigers
7-5 | It wasn’t the year the Tigers were supposed to have, but they deserve full credit for fighting the good fight with a four-game winning streak to close. The offense isn’t anything great, and the defense can’t stop good quarterbacks, but there’s no running on this bunch.
Penn State Nittany Lions
6-6 | Everyone is always looking for the teams that want to be in the mid-range bowl games. Penn State didn’t fight this hard to get here only to bring the C- effort. The running game should be amazing, and even though the Matt Campbell era isn’t starting yet, there should be a spark and excitement going into 2026.
Wasabi Fenway Bowl
Saturday, December 27, 2025
Army Knights
6-5 | It’s Army. You know exactly what you’re getting. It might not have the offense and talent of last year, but the running game is still outstanding, and no team in the country is better at controlling the clock. Again, it’s Army – there are no penalties or mistakes.
UConn Huskies
9-3 | It was a crazy-amazing year, beating Duke and Boston College, but losing to Rice and Delaware. Jim Mora is off to Colorado State, but interim head man Gordon Sammis should keep it all going for an air-tight team that never turns the ball over and brings a dominant pass rush.
Pop-Tarts Bowl
Saturday, December 27, 2025
BYU Cougars
11-2 | It’s only crime is that it had to play Texas Tech twice. It’s a rock-solid team in all phases with few mistakes, great production on both sides of the ball on third downs, and a running game that can take over. QB Bear Bachmeier is growing into a star.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
9-3 | It’s a regression to the mean team. It got away with close call after close call on the way to an 8-0 start, but the defense sputtered and coughed in November. The offense is a blast, Haynes King is a whale of a quarterback, and the team is shooting for a ten-win season.
Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl
Saturday, December 27, 2025
Fresno State Bulldogs
8-4 | Up-and-down, the Bulldogs started hot, hit a snag in the middle, and got rolling late with a great pass defense that takes the ball away. Overall, the defense is among the best in the country, allowing fewer than 300 yards per game.
Miami University RedHawks
7-6 | It was a good season with a run to a MAC Championship appearance, but the RedHawks had the same problem they’ve had all year. There’s a huge problem on third downs on both sides, but there’s a great pass rush and a good downfield passing game.
Isleta New Mexico Bowl
Saturday, December 27, 2025
North Texas Mean Green
11-2 | Head coach Eric Morris is off to Oklahoma State after this, but first, his team needs to get over the disappointment of not getting into the CFP by ripping it up with its high-powered offense. QB Drew Mestemaker and the O are worth the watch.
San Diego State Aztecs
9-3 | The Aztecs came painfully close to hosting the Mountain West Championship. It’s a nasty team with one of the nation’s best defenses, a destructive ground game around RB Lucky Sutton, and when this bunch gets control of a game, forget it.
TaxSlayer Gator Bowl
Saturday, December 27, 2025
Missouri Tigers
8-4 | There’s a lot to like. Ahmad Hardy is one of the nation’s best backs, and head coach Eliah Drinkwitz inked an extension. This would be the cap on a season full of okay wins, no great ones, and the potential for something huge next year. The defense is the real deal.
Virginia Cavaliers
10-3 | How fast can the Cavaliers get over the horrible ACC Championship overtime loss to Duke? It’s still be a wildly successful season with a defense that normally holds up well. QB Chandler Morris is a gutty veteran playmaker who should lead a tough team that can pick itself up off the mat instantly.
Kinder’s Texas Bowl
Saturday, December 27, 2025
Houston Cougars
9-3 | It flew under the radar, struggled a bit at times, and after a 7-1 start, it went 2-2 in November and tapped out in the Big 12 race. There’s not enough pressure in the backfield, but there aren’t many mistakes, QB Connor Weigman is great, and a ten-win season would be a big deal.
LSU Tigers
7-5 | This didn’t work. The Brian Kelly experience flamed out, the offense was a total flop – it didn’t score more than 25 points in any FBS game – and … winning a bowl game would do wonders to put a bow on this before Mr. Kiffin fully takes over.
JLab Birmingham Bowl
Monday, December 29, 2025
App State Mountaineers
5-7 | No one else wanted the bowl slot, so App State said okay, and here it is. It’s been on a rough run, losing five of the last six games, but it was THIS close to getting a bowl slot on its own, losing 30-29 to Arkansas State. The defense can get into the backfield, but it gives up points by the truckload.
Georgia Southern Eagles
6-6 | Which Eagle team will show up? It’s got the offense to get hot and put 40 on the board, but the defense can’t get off the field. There’s no pass rush whatsoever, and the D is among the worst in the nation, but the stuff is there to keep up in a shootout.
Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl
Tuesday, December 30, 2025
Coastal Carolina Chanticleers
6-6 | There’s no in between with the Chanticleers. Everything was going great, but the defense took the final few weeks off once the schedule got tough. There’s no downfield passing game, and the run D isn’t stopping anyone, but when the offense is on, it rolls.
Louisiana Tech Bulldogs
7-5 | The Bulldogs got the offense rolling late in the season to get here, but it was the defense that set the tone early on in a 4-1 start. Outstanding at not turning the ball over, it makes up for all of the problems as one of the most penalized teams in America.
Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl
Tuesday, December 30, 2025
Illinois Fighting Illini
8-4 | It wasn’t quite the big season many were hoping for, but it’s a veteran team that is outstanding when it plays with an attitude. There was a strange loss at Wisconsin, but the team closed strong, with the momentum carrying the team into what should be a big bowl performance.
Tennessee Volunteers
8-4 | No, it wasn’t the season the Vols were hoping for, but the bowl game will be the defining moment. They lost to the good teams, beat the mediocre, and as long as the offense gets into a groove, the defense is good enough to take care of the rest.
Valero Alamo Bowl
Tuesday, December 30, 2025
TCU Horned Frogs
8-4 | The Horned Frogs had a little bit of a disappointing season, considering how hot it was to start, but this bunch plays with an attitude and a big offensive style. It closed strong, will push the attack, and because of the light defense, the games are always a blast.
USC Trojans
9-3 | The Trojans had a good year, and Lincoln Riley’s hot seat has cooled down, so now it’s time to make a statement. The program is coming off a whopper of a recruiting season, there’s a great team returning, and in this, the attacking defense and explosive – but not consistent – offense will be dangerous.
ReliaQuest Bowl
Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Iowa Hawkeyes
8-4 | It’s Iowa, and you know exactly what you’re getting. This year’s version is outstanding on the lines, grounds and pounds with the best of them, and has a quarterback in Mark Gronowski who needs to be turned loose. Punt returner Kaden Wetjen is worth the bowl watch alone.
Vanderbilt Commodores
10-2 | You want to deal with this bunch? Diego Pavia gets all the love, but the team is great on both sides of the ball. It’s ultra-efficient, the defense holds up well, and yeah, Pavia is the most magical playmaker in college football. It already came up with its first ten-win season in school history, and now the great year can go up a few notches.
Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl
Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Arizona State Sun Devils
8-4 | The Sun Devils weren’t able to repeat the success of last season, but even with the midseason loss of QB Sam Leavitt, it was still a great year with a win over Texas Tech and a never-quit defensive style that keeps on coming. The offense has to avoid big mistakes.
Duke Blue Devils
8-5 | That’s the ACC Champion Duke Blue Devils to you. QB Darian Mensah and the offense can light up anyone. The O puts the points up, and the D usually gives them away just as fast. If nothing else, Blue Devil games are a blast, and even though it’s not in the CFP, it’ll be happy to be playing with house money.
Cheez-It Citrus Bowl
Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Michigan Wolverines
9-3 | As always, the lines are great, the run defense solid, and there’s a toughness to the offense that got it through a fight of a season. It’s like this bunch is just getting started around QB Bryce Underwood, and this is the unofficial start to a potentially great 2026.
Texas Longhorns
9-3 | The preseason No. 1 team wasn’t expected to be here, but it’s still a good bowl game for a team looking to prove something after being ignored late in the CFP process. This is the first game of the rest of the team’s life – it’ll be a tone-setter for 2026 for Arch Manning, and for a defense that was a killer at times. (Now find more of a ground game.)
SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl
Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Nebraska Cornhuskers
7-5 | Does this seem like a program about ready to take off? It limped across the finish line without injured star QB Dylan Raiiola, the offense was blah, the defense meh, and the high point was the August win over Cincinnati. However, Emmett Johnson is one of the nation’s best backs, and effort for this team is never an issue.
Utah Utes
10-2 | It was never quite in the College Football Playoff hunt with losses to Texas Tech and BYU, but it rolled through just about everyone else. Only Navy is better on the ground, both lines are dominant, and as long as it’s not turning it over, there’s no stopping the machine.
Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl
Friday, January 2, 2026
Rice Owls
5-7 | In thanks to Kansas State and Iowa State opting out, the Owls will take the invite. They lost three of their last four, there’s no passing game whatsoever with its run-first-run-always offense, but it controls games and will always work its own style.
Texas State Bobcats
6-6 | Will the real Bobcats please step up? They needed three straight wins to get here, and they did it. They run a very fast, very interesting offense that can crank up the numbers in bunches, but the defense gives up the yards and points just as quickly.
AutoZone Liberty Bowl
Friday, January 2, 2026
Cincinnati Bearcats
7-5 | The Bearcats were 7-1 and in the thick of things for something big, but the defense went bye-bye in November. It’s a fast team that can score fast and doesn’t care about the time of possession battle – get ready to have some fun.
Navy Midshipmen
9-2 | There’s a little more of a passing game this year, but it’s still Navy – it runs well, and it closed on a hot streak with wins over USF and Memphis. There’s still the Army game to deal with in another good season with, potentially, back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time in school history.
Duke’s Mayo Bowl
Friday, January 2, 2026
Mississippi State Bulldogs
5-7 | Mississippi State … GET IN THERE! With Iowa State and Kansas State opting out, the Bulldogs are going bowling. For a team like this that’s still improving, the extra time and practices should be a big deal. The high-powered passing game is a blast, and it’ll have to get going with a defense that’s been just okay.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons
8-4 | Did anyone believe the first year of the Jake Dickert era would be this good? The Demon Deacons were a tough out every week, with a few strange meltdowns here and there. It’s a find-a-way team around decent play from the lines.
Holiday Bowl
Friday, January 2, 2026
Arizona Wildcats
9-3 | It’s been a wonderful breakthrough season under head coach Brent Brennan. The defense found its footing over the second half of the season after a rough mid-section. No team in college football is better at taking the ball away.
SMU Mustangs
8-4 | For everyone mad about the ACC’s CFP fail, here’s the problem – all SMU had to do was beat Cal, and Duke would’ve been out of the title game. The Mustangs have the same deadly offense that got them to the CFP last year, but the pass defense gives up 275 yards getting out of bed.
College Football Playoff First Round
Friday, December 19, 2025
Alabama Crimson Tide (9)
10-2 | The talent is good enough to win it all with an ultra-efficient offense when QB Ty Simpson is on. The secondary is fantastic, the team is great at controlling the clock and tempo, and as long as the passing game is clicking, look out.
Oklahoma Sooners (8)
10-2 | Don’t get tripped up over the lack of a high-powered offense. The devastating pass rush and suffocated defense are enough to take full control of games. QB John Mateer should be far stronger with time off to rest up – expect a far more dangerous attack.
Saturday, December 20, 2025
Miami Hurricanes (10)
10-2 | Okay, it got the massive break, and now the bar is set at winning the whole thing. The talent is there on both sides of the ball to beat anyone and everyone, but the intensity and focus have to be there for a full 60 minutes, the lines have to take over, and QB Carson Beck has to avoid screwing up.
Texas A&M Aggies (7)
11-1 | Alright, Aggies, let’s do this. They’re in, they have everything there for the taking, and now they have to get past that regular-season finishing loss to Texas. The defense is good enough to take over, but it’s up to QB Marcel Reed and the offense to push their way through with the tough home game at the 7 instead of the break at the 5 or 6.
Saturday, December 20, 2025
Ole Miss Rebels (6)
11-1 | Okay, Ole Miss, are you ready to show Lane Kiffin what he’s missing out on? Nothing stops. The offense will still go full-throttle, the defense will try hanging on for dear life when it has to be on the field for far too long, and if you’re looking for a team with the ultimate chip on its shoulder, here you go.
Tulane Green Wave (11)
12-2 | Okay, Green Wave, get ready to bring it. A disaster in the first meeting against Ole Miss, Tulane has enough of an offense to keep up and do more this time around. The offensive line is a killer, but the defense has to do something to stop the forward pass.
Saturday, December 20, 2025
James Madison Dukes (12)
12-1 | The Sun Belt champ is in the College Football Playoff – and everything will be okay. It’ll get rocked, but it’s been an amazing season, and now it gets to take its cut. It might be a time of transition coming up with Bob Chesney off to UCLA and Billy Napier coming in, but for now, expect a ton of running and killer effort from a rock of a D.
Oregon Ducks (5)
11-1 | The Ducks have flown way under the radar – they’ve been all but forgotten about. There’s even more toughness to this year’s team, to go along with the playmakers and explosion, and now it’s time to take over after an ugly tapout in last year’s CFP. Dante Moore might be the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, and he has the weapons.
College Football Playoff Quarterfinals
Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic
Texas A&M or Miami vs (2) Ohio State Buckeyes
Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Ohio State Buckeyes
12-1 | Oh boo hoo, so it lost the Big Ten Championship. Last year’s team used the losses to Oregon and Michigan as rocket fuel to a run to the national title. No, the team couldn’t handle the adversity, and yes, it hadn’t played ANYONE who was all that great after the Texas win – and Indiana exposed that – but by a mile, this is the most talented team in college football, along with Georgia.
Capital One Orange Bowl
Oregon or James Madison vs (4) Texas Tech Red Raiders
Thursday, January 1, 2026
Texas Tech Red Raiders
12-1 | The train might not be stopping for a while. The Red Raiders rolled into this CFP with a dominant performance to take the first outright conference title since 1954, and now it’s time to show off. There are no major flaws. The defensive front seven can play with anyone, the offense is ultra-efficient, and the parts are there to make a run.
Rose Bowl Presented by Prudential
Alabama or Oklahoma vs (1) Indiana Hoosiers
Thursday, January 1, 2026
Indiana Hoosiers
13-0 | Now it’s the No. 1 team, and the cute story thing is over. The Hoosiers do everything well. They’re well coached, there aren’t enough penalties or turnovers to matter, and everything usually works like clockwork. Don’t just assume it’s about the styles and schemes. The talent is there to hold up against the run on one side, and rip off yards in chunks on the other.
Allstate Sugar Bowl
Ole Miss or Tulane vs (3) Georgia Bulldogs
Thursday, January 1, 2026
Georgia Bulldogs
12-1 | The SEC Champion might have a few problems cranking up the offensive consistency, but the defense is making up for it. The NFL talent is there across the board, even if there’s not a ton of star power on a national level. It’s a smart team that doesn’t mess up, always stays in control, and has the minerals to win the whole thing.
