The start of the 2026 college football season is exactly one month away. That means the preseason US LBM Coaches poll is right around the corner.

Who will be No. 1? Will defending national champion Indiana get the top spot or will Big Ten rivals Ohio State or Oregon? SEC powers Georgia and Texas will be in the mix, too.

This year, USA TODAY Sports will unveil the preseason US LBM Coaches Top 25 live on YouTube with instant analysis from our team of college football experts Blake Toppmeyer, Matt Hayes, John Brice and Paul Myerberg and will include a special guest during the poll reveal.

You can watch the poll release noon ET, Tuesday, Aug. 4 on USA TODAY Sports' YouTube page.

During the season the US LBM Coaches poll is released every Sunday after the first regular-season poll on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

When does 2026 college football season start?

The 2026 college football season kicks off with Week 0 on Saturday, Aug. 29, starting with North Carolina facing TCU in Dublin, Ireland.
