Alabama football can officially close its chapter on the 2025 season.
A season that ended with Kalen DeBoer’s first College Football Playoff win with the Crimson Tide before a blowout in the CFP quarterfinal against the eventual national champion, Alabama finished as the No. 9 team in the country according to the final US LBM Coaches Poll released Tuesday, Jan. 20.
Alabama is one of seven SEC teams in the final top-25 joining No. 3 Ole Miss, No. 5 Georgia, No. 8 Texas A&M, No. 10 Oklahoma, No. 13 Texas and No. 15 Vanderbilt.
The Crimson Tide was ranked No. 9 in the final Associated Press poll, which was also released Tuesday.
Alabama finished the 2024 season ranked No. 17 after finishing 9-4 with a season-ending loss to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
Alabama will open the 2026 season Saturday, Sept. 5 against East Carolina.
