Alabama football has turned the page on its 2026 recruiting class for the most part, with Crimson Tide coaches using much of January to hit the road to visit prospects in the 2027 recruiting class and beyond.

With what it expected to be an uneventful National Signing Day for the Crimson Tide helps close what has been a successful chapter for Alabama in the 2026 recruiting class.

According to the 247Sports composite team ranking, Alabama finished with an even better recruiting class in the second full cycle under coach Kalen DeBoer, finishing with the second-best class nationally, and with the best recruiting class in the SEC.

Alabama is one of three programs to secure at least four five-star players along with Oregon and Notre Dame. The Crimson Tide signed running back Ezavier Crowell, linebacker Xavier Griffin, cornerback Jorden Edmonds and safety Jireh Edwards.

Alabama had the third-best average player rating of any class nationally behind only Oregon and LSU. Alabama landed four five-stars, 10 four-stars and 12 three-stars.
