Where did Notre Dame land in ESPN’s College Football Playoff picks?

US LBM Coaches Poll No. 3 Notre Dame is on a mission to make a deep College Football Playoff run after being snubbed out of the tournament last season.

Twelve ESPN college football experts each provided a list of which teams will be the CFP’s twelve seeds, and some believe the Fighting Irish deserve the top spot.

ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura and Alex Scarborough picked Notre Dame as the No. 1 seed. David Hale, Eli Lederman and Jake Trotter chose the Irish as the second seed.

Also for ESPN, Andrea Adelson, Bill Connelly, Max Olson, Adam Rittenberg, Paolo Uggetti, Mark Schlabach and Dave Wilson each have Notre Dame as the third seed.

Adelson, Lederman, Olson, Rittenberg, Schlabach, Trotter, Uggetti and Wilson each chose Texas as the top seed, while Connelly and Hale picked Ole Miss as No. 1.

Notre Dame (3-0) is at Purdue (1-2) on Saturday.
