STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football’s top target in the transfer portal, Jordan Seaton, is reportedly visiting a fourth team.

Seaton is on a visit at LSU Jan. 18 and will be visiting Oregon on Jan. 19, according to multiple media reports. The offensive tackle from Colorado reportedly made his first visit to Mississippi State, followed by Miami.

He’s ranked as the No. 4 player in the transfer portal by 247Sports and the No. 1 non-quarterback.

Seaton has a connection to MSU through offensive line coach Phil Loadholt. He was Colorado’s offensive line coach in 2024, Seaton’s freshman season with the Buffaloes and coach Deion Sanders.

Seaton will be junior in 2026 after two standout seasons at Colorado. In 2024, he made 13 starts and was an All-Big 12 honorable mention. This season, he started nine games before suffering an injury but was still an All-Big 12 second-team selection.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pound Seaton was the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2024 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He played at IMG Academy in Florida but is from Washington D.C.

What landing Jordan Seaton would mean for Mississippi State

Seaton would be an instant starter for Mississippi State, which had struggles on the offensive line in 2025. He’d be the anchor of the offensive line tasked with protecting quarterback Kamario Taylor.

Seaton was logged for allowing only one sack, zero quarterback hits and five pressures this season.

The Bulldogs have already gotten seven transfers from offensive linemen, but none of them were starters in 2025.
