On Saturday, on Nov. 8, “GameDay” will break a 17-year streak when it heads to Lubbock to preview No. 8 Texas Tech’s showdown against No. 7 BYU in a battle between top-10 opponents with College Football Playoff aspirations.
Texas Tech has only hosted “College GameDay” once ever, which came when the Red Raiders upset No. 1 Texas in 2008 after a game-winning touchdown catch by two-time Biletnikoff Award winner Michael Crabtree.
