Where Jim Mora's first CSU signing class ranks in Pac-12, nationally

Jim Mora probably won’t care about this story.

“That doesn’t matter. That’s just the number on a piece of paper,” Mora said about recruiting rankings last week.

The new Colorado State football coach had been asked about the top 10 recruits in Colorado’s class of 2026 signing out of state.

“Well, who determined that they were the top 10? I didn’t. Our staff didn’t,” Mora said.

“So, while we will look at rankings that other people put out there, what’s most important is that we’re the experts and that we put our eyes on them,” Mora said.

“I’ve evaluated hundreds of thousands of football players at every level, so I’m going to believe my eyes before I believe anyone else’s eyes,” Mora said. “So, where they’re ranked, that doesn’t matter.”

It’s probably safe to assume Mora probably does not care much about where CSU’s 2026 class ended up ranked.

But hey, it’s 8 months until the next CSU football season begins and rankings are fun to look at and debate, so here we go!

CSU’s 2026 class has been signed and it’s a blending of players who had long been committed to the Rams and those who flipped from UConn to follow Mora.
