LSU football gained multiple commitments so far in June. Seven 2027 prospects chose the Tigers so far this month, giving head coach Lane Kiffin's team a sizable boost in the national picture.
The most recent addition is Tre Segarra, a four-star running back out of Duncan, SC. He brings the total number of commitments in the class to 11. Kiffin and staff went to work throughout the spring and are repeating the benefits of their efforts on the recruiting trail.
According to Rivals' Industry Rankings, LSU ranks No. 14 nationally and No. 7 in the SEC as of Wednesday. The Tigers jumped into the top-15 with their additions from over the weekend and early in the week.
In addition to Segarra, offensive linemen Terrance Smith and Amaziah Siale committed to LSU on Monday. Kiffin bucked the trend of sticking with in-state prospects as all three hail from outside the southeast.
Four of LSU's 11 commitments in the 2027 cycle hail from Louisiana. Five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson and four-star quarterback Peyton Houston headline the in-state group.
