Where’s Ohio State in third College Football Playoff rankings? Full playoff picture

Ohio State was atop the College Football Playoff rankings for the third straight week.

It was again ahead of Indiana and Texas A&M, the next highest-ranked teams and the only others in the Football Bowl Subdivision who remain unbeaten entering the penultimate weekend of the regular season.

Ohio State Buckeyes running back Bo Jackson (25) celebrates a touchdown with offensive lineman Phillip Daniels (70) during the NCAA football game against the UCLA Bruins at Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Nov. 15, 2025.

Since the Buckeyesdebuted at No. 1 in the initial rankings on Nov. 4, they have responded with routs of Purdue and UCLA. Their 48-10 win over UCLA on Nov. 15 was their highest-scoring Big Ten game this year.

The Buckeyes, who are 10-0 overall and 7-0 in the conference, have won each game by double-digits following their season-opening win over Texas.

Their stint at No. 1 is their longest since the selection committee began releasing weekly rankings in 2014. The Buckeyes had only been the top team in the rankings in back-to-back weeks in 2023 and 2019.

Ohio State and Indiana are not scheduled to play each other during the regular season, though would meet in the Big Ten championship game if they run the table.

The Buckeyes play Rutgers and Michigan over the next two weeks, while Indiana is at Purdue on Nov. 29.
