LSU hosted five-star transfer portal tackle Jordan Seaton over the weekend. Lane Kiffin and the Tigers are looking for an exclamation point on what's already the top-ranked transfer class in the country.
Seaton, a rising junior, played two years at Colorado. A two-year starter under head coach Deion Sanders, the Washington D.C. native is the best offensive lineman in the transfer portal. He played immediately for a power conference team and is a future NFL prospect.
Rivals' Industry Rankings slots Seaton as the No. 5 player nationally. Coming out of high school at IMG Academy, he was a consensus five-star prospect and the top offensive tackle in the 2024 recruiting class. He was ranked No. 5 in Florida and No. 18 nationally.
At most schools in the country, the school semester has already begun or is begining. That means Seaton has to make a decision in the coming days. The news could come as soon as Monday.
Along with LSU, who are the top contenders for Seaton?
The most obvious threats to LSU appear to be Miami and Mississippi State. Seaton took visits to both programs prior to making a stop at LSU. There was talk of Oregon getting a visit after Seaton's trip to Baton Rouge, too.

LSU loaded up on transfers at the offensive line to rebuild a unit decimated by departures. It has just two players returning who logged starts in Baton Rouge last season. While Lane Kiffin has already inked several offensive linemen to build depth, a commitment from Seaton would take the unit to the next level.
