CLEMSON — Clemson football is expected to add to its 2026 recruiting class on late signing day Feb. 4.
Clemson received verbal commitments from three-star wide receiver Cam Blivens, and junior college defensive lineman Andy Burburija. Both committed to Clemson in January as the Tigers added 10 transfers, their largest single-season portal class.
It would be the first time since 2022 when the Tigers landed eight recruits that Dabo Swinney‘s team signed a player in February.
The Tigers signed 20 players on early signing day in December, which is ranked No. 20 (fourth in ACC), according to 247Sports Composite rankings, with 10 four-star recruits, nine three-stars and one player who isn’t rated.
Here’s what each February commit will bring with the late signing period approaching.
Where Andy Burburija fits on Clemson football depth chart
Burburija, the No. 58 JUCO player nationally and No. 9 defensive lineman per 247Sports Composite, spent two seasons at Iowa Western Community College. The 6-foot-2 defensive tackle set career highs in 2025, recording 45 tackles, including 18.5 for loss and 11 sacks. He flipped his commitment from Nebraska to Clemson on Jan. 19.
Clemson lost three starters at defensive tackle: Peter Woods (NFL Draft), DeMonte Capehart (expiring eligibility) and Stephiylan Green (transfer portal). The Tigers added Oklahoma transfer Markus Strong and West Georgia transfer Kourtney Kelly but needed another player in the room.
Burburija’s addition gives Clemson more rotational depth along with remaining contributors Vic Burley and Amare Adams.
Where Cam Blivens fits on Clemson football depth chart
Blivens, 6-2, decommitted from Columbia in December and skipped the early signing period. Then, Clemson called when walk-on receiver Parker Fulghum entered the portal, and Blivens committed on Jan. 18.
Blivens caught 63 passes for 1,086 yards and nine touchdowns in 2025. He will join a loaded wide-receiver group that features Bryant Wesco Jr., T.J. Moore, Tyler Brown, three freshman signees and possibly Tristan Smith.
With his limited experience and the wealth of talent in front of him, Blivens is unlikely to make an impact for Clemson in 2026 and may have to redshirt.

Clemson’s 2026 recruiting class is ranked 20th nationally (fourth in ACC) in the 247Sports Composite with 20 signees.
Swinney’s classes ranked in the top 10 seven times during his 17 full seasons: 2011 (10th), 2015 (9th), 2018 (7th), 2019 (10th), 2020 (3rd), 2021 (5th) and 2022 (10th).
His classes ranked between Nos. 11-20 seven times too: 2012 (20th), 2013 (15th), 2014 (16th), 2016 (11th), 2017 (16th), 2023 (11th) and 2024 (11th).
Swinney’s recruiting classes ranked lower than 20th in his first two seasons as Clemson’s full-time coach in 2009 (36th) and 2010 (27th), and it happened in 2025 (26th).
