The 2026 college football early signing period is here.
Duke football coach Manny Diaz will be securing his second full recruiting class since arriving in Durham in December 2023. Diaz brought in 27 players in the 2025 class which ranked No. 31 overall per the 247Sports Composite.
In his second year as head coach, Diaz and the Blue Devils punched a ticket to the ACC title game on Saturday, Dec. 6 against Virginia after finishing 6-2 in the ACC for the first time since 2013. Duke beat Wake Forest 49-32 in Week 14 while SMU and Pitt both lost to secure Duke’s spot to compete for a conference title.
Duke currently has 16 commits in its 2026 class which ranks No. 62 overall per the 247Sports Composite and it looks to continue growing.
Ahead of Wednesday, here’s a look at some of the Blue Devils targets heading into 2026 early signing day.

Duke currently has 16 commits in its class and is targeting other talent. Some players Duke has extended offers to that have yet to commit anywhere include:

Duke’s 2026 cycle currently ranks No. 62 overall per the 247Sports Composite with 16 commits. In On3 rankings, the Blue Devils class is tabbed at No. 53 overall while Duke’s 2026 class is ranked No. 52 overall per ESPN rankings.

The 2026 early signing period for football is Wednesday, Dec. 3 through Friday, December 5.
When is late signing day?
The 2026 late signing period for football is February 4, 2026.
