Who is in Alabama football 2026 recruiting class before National Signing Day?

Most of the work is done for Alabama football.

With National Signing Day approaching, 23 players from the 2026 recruiting class have already signed with the Crimson Tide, and the majority of those players are already enrolled and on campus.

While National Signing Day is expected to be uneventful, Alabama is expected to finalize two wide receiver commitments to add to its second-ranked recruiting class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings.

The National Signing Day period starts Wednesday, Feb. 4.

  • Jett Thomalla: 4-star quarterback, Omaha, Nebraska
  • Jamarion Matthews: 4-star defensive lineman, Gainesville, Georgia
  • Zyan Gibson: 4-star cornerback, Gadsden, Alabama
  • Nolan Wilson: 4-star defensive lineman, Picayune, Mississippi

Who is expected to sign with Alabama football on National Signing Day?

Since the early signing period, Alabama has landed two wide receiver commits

Maurice Mathis Jr., a 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver out of Warner Robins, Georgia, committed to Alabama Jan. 18. Mathis is the No. 498 player and the No. 70 wide receiver in the country per 247Sports’ composite rankings. He reported offers from programs such as Memphis, South Florida and Vanderbilt.

Alabama also landed Aubrey Walker, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound receiver out of Moody, Alabama. Walker committed to the Crimson Tide Jan. 22 as the No. 1,491 player and the No. 210 receiver in the country per 247Sports’ composite rankings. Walker previously reported offers from programs such as Western Kentucky and UAB.
